How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the print read as purple or more pink in person?

It reads mostly as soft lilac and lavender, with cooler blue-purple in the shadow areas and pale pink only on the lily petals themselves. In warm afternoon light it warms up slightly; in cool morning light the lavender comes forward. Not a pink print overall.

Will the soft palette look washed out on a white wall?

It works best on chalky off-white, warm plaster or pale grey walls rather than bright builder-white, which can make the lilac feel a touch faded. A warm off-white or soft greige wall lets the lavender and pale pink hold their own without competing.

Is this better as a single piece or part of a pair?

It works beautifully solo above a bed or sofa, where the loose brushwork has room to breathe. If pairing, keep the partner quiet — a softer botanical study or a gentle pastel abstract — rather than a second statement floral that would crowd it.
