How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Can you actually make out Big Ben and the buildings, or is it too loose?

Yes — Big Ben anchors the left side with its clock face visible, and you can pick out Westminster Abbey's spire in the centre and a domed roofline behind. The black cab in the bottom right is clear too. It's loose, but the landmarks are all there to read.

Will the blue feel cold on a north-facing wall?

Not really. The orange and warm yellow washes break up the blue ink, and the off-white paper background keeps things light rather than chilly. It'll feel lively on a cooler wall, not gloomy — but if your hallway is very dim, a warm lamp nearby helps it sing.

Is the 'London, England' caption part of the print?

Yes, it's printed at the bottom in a handwritten blue script as part of the artwork. If you'd rather it sat out of sight, mat the print so the caption is hidden — but most people leave it on, since it's part of the travel-journal feel.
