How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep red overpower a small hallway?

Not in a medium size. The red is balanced by a large off-white area and a calm soft blue floor, so the piece reads as warm and welcoming rather than loud. In a narrow hallway, keep the rest of the wall quiet — cream paint, a wooden console, one small ceramic — and let this be the focal point.

Is this suitable for a child's room?

Yes. The two tiny robed figures and the storybook courtyard are gentle and friendly, with no sharp or scary imagery. The bold red gives a child's room a clear focal point without going pink or pastel, and it sits nicely above a low bookshelf or reading nook at child-friendly eye level.

What wall colour works best behind it?

Chalky off-white, soft cream or warm plaster work best — they let the red and soft blue do the work. Avoid hanging it on a strong colour wall like terracotta, deep green or navy, where the red will compete. A pale neutral wall keeps the folk-art feel and lets the whitewashed courtyard read clearly.
