How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the mint-green sky look odd against warm-toned walls?

It actually helps. The mint is muted rather than sharp, and it sits against pinks and terracotta in the print itself, so warm walls — soft white, blush, oat, sand — read as a continuation rather than a clash. The piece tends to struggle more against cool greys and deep greens than warm neutrals.

Is the black cat the focal point or just part of the scene?

It's the focal point. The cat sits low and central on the pink steps, and the composition funnels down towards it through the staircase and plants. From across a room, the cat is what you read first; the courtyard fills in around it as you get closer.

Does this work in a small hallway, or is it too busy?

It works in small hallways as long as it's the only piece on that wall. The composition is detailed, so giving it breathing room matters more than overall wall size. A single medium print on a plain painted wall reads as confident; the same print in a cluster reads as cluttered.
