How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep blue background look heavy in a small kitchen?

Not if the wall around it stays calm. The blue reads as a focal point rather than a heavy slab when it sits against cream, off-white or warm wood. In a small kitchen, hang it above a tray or sideboard rather than a busy worktop, and keep the shelves nearby uncluttered so the eye lands on the print.

Is the caption text under the glass readable from across the room?

The big 'DRY MARTINI' lettering reads clearly from across a room. The short caption underneath is smaller and more decorative — readable up close but designed to sit as a quiet line of text rather than something you read from the sofa. Treat it as part of the painted poster feel, not a sign.

Does this work in a dining room rather than a kitchen?

Yes. Above a sideboard or drinks console in a dining room is arguably where it looks best — especially against a navy or warm cream wall, with candlelight and glassware nearby. The tall portrait shape suits the gap above a low piece of furniture and the subject earns its place at dinner.
