How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the busy tiled floor make a small room feel too cluttered?

The pattern sits in the bottom half of the picture, so it reads as floor rather than overall busyness. In a small room with plain walls and simple bedding or towels, it actually anchors the space rather than crowding it. Keep the surrounding room calm — plain linen, painted timber, one or two clay pots — and it settles in well.

Does the cat take centre stage or is it a small detail?

The cat sits in the lower middle of the picture, big enough to read clearly but not the whole story. The sea view through the open door is the main pull, with the cat as a quiet anchor on the tiles. If you want a cat-led picture it's not that — it's a coastal room scene that happens to include a cat.

Will the soft pink walls in the print fight a white or cream room?

No — the pink is muted and warm, closer to a chalky plaster than a bright pink. It sits comfortably against off-white, cream, terracotta and soft sand walls. It will fight cool grey, stark white and chrome-heavy rooms, but it's friendly with anything warm-neutral or earthy.
