How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dark navy background feel too heavy in a small bedroom?
Less than you'd think. Most of the print is sky and moon, so the eye reads light first, then settles into the dark. In a small room, keep the surrounding walls a soft off-white and let one warm lamp do the lighting. It cocoons the room rather than shrinking it.
Is the moon centred or set to one side?
The moon sits in the upper centre, slightly off to the right, with the meadow rising across the full width below. That means it works best hung centred on the wall — an off-centre placement will make the composition feel lopsided rather than intentional.
Does the text along the bottom read clearly from across the room?
From a normal viewing distance the 'William Morris' header and 'South Kensington' caption read as part of the exhibition-poster style rather than as legible text. Up close you can read every line; from across the room it just looks like a classic gallery poster.
