How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the off-white background match a bright white wall?
The paper background is warm off-white, not bright white, so against a cool white wall there will be a slight tonal difference. On chalky or warm-white walls it disappears into the wall and lets the black letterforms do the work. Most people find the warmth helps stop the print feeling clinical.
Is the texture on the letters real or just a flat black?
The letters carry a subtle vintage-poster ink texture rather than a flat solid black, so up close you'll see slight grain and a few lighter patches. From normal viewing distance it reads as a confident, slightly weathered black. It's intentional and part of the character of the piece.
Will a large size feel overwhelming in a small room?
Big typography actually tends to calm a small room rather than crowd it, because it gives the eye one clear thing to land on. Hang it solo on a wall with a metre of clear space around it. Avoid sitting it next to other word prints or a busy gallery wall.
