How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep blues feel too cold in a warm-toned room?
Not usually. The cream border and soft greens warm the blues considerably, and the yellow cloud adds a small point of heat. It sits comfortably alongside oak, linen, terracotta and warm putty walls without dragging the room cool.
Is this better as a solo piece or part of a gallery wall?
It works both ways. Solo, the swirling brushwork has space to read properly above a sofa or console. In a small cluster of two or three, keep the companions quieter — simple botanicals or mono line art in cream and green — so this stays the hero.
How close does the cream border match a typical wall colour?
The border is a soft warm off-white, close to chalky paint colours like Farrow & Ball Slipper Satin or similar. It blends well on cream, putty and pale sage walls; against bright white it may look a touch warmer, which most rooms read as a positive.
