How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm cream background clash with a cool grey or pure white nursery?
It can read slightly yellowish next to cool grey or stark white walls. It's happiest on a warm off-white, soft cream, or pale oat wall. If your nursery is on the cooler side, an oak or warm brown frame helps bridge the temperature.
Does this work as a single print or is it better grouped?
Both. On its own above a low dresser or beside a cot, it's a quiet focal point. Grouped with two or three other Beatrix Potter scenes, it builds a proper storybook wall. Four or more starts to feel like a shop display rather than a nursery.
How small can I go before the rabbits lose their detail?
The soft watercolour line holds up well, but in very small sizes the three rabbits start to merge into one warm shape. A medium portrait is the sweet spot — large enough to read the scene clearly from a reading chair, small enough to suit a nursery wall.
