How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dense floral background feel too busy in a small hallway?
The fox sits dead centre and the typography frames the scene, so the eye lands quickly even with all the floral detail around it. In a narrow hallway it actually reads as one strong piece rather than busy pattern, as long as the surrounding walls are calm and the console below isn't cluttered.
Does the colour skew warm or cool overall?
Distinctly warm. The dominant tones are rust, cream, deep green-brown and soft stone, with a dark anchor behind the fox. It will sit happily with oak, walnut, brass and linen, and against chalky off-white or soft sage walls. It will fight a cool grey or stark white modern scheme.
Is it better above a console or as a study feature?
Both work. Above a slim console in a hallway it acts as a welcoming anchor at eye level. In a study, hang it above a writing desk slightly lower so it sits in your sightline when seated. Either way, keep the rest of the wall clear so the piece can breathe.
