How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this too festive to leave up all year?

Yes, fairly. The holly wreath and stacked gifts read clearly as Christmas, so most people swap it in for the festive weeks and store it the rest of the year. It's designed as a seasonal rotation piece rather than year-round art.

Will the pale blue car clash with a red-and-green Christmas scheme?

It softens it, actually. The soft blue body cools down a heavy red-and-green room and stops it tipping into traditional-tartan territory. If your festive decorating runs deep red, dark green and brass, this print sits in nicely as the lighter accent.

Is it more children's room or grown-up living room?

It works in both, but it's drawn with enough restraint to suit a grown-up living room or hallway. The palette is soft, the linework is loose rather than cartoonish, and there are no characters — so it reads as illustrated holiday art rather than a kids' print.
