How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the text part of the print or printed separately?
The words Lucky Numbers and Protection 444 are part of the artwork itself — printed in the same pass as the shell. You can't remove the typography or order a version without it. If you'd prefer a shell-only piece, look for our plain pastel shell studies instead.
Will the soft pink look washed out on a white wall?
It reads quite soft against bright white, which is part of the appeal — it adds a wash of warmth rather than a strong colour pop. If you want the pinks to feel more present, a chalky off-white, warm cream or very pale plaster pink wall will give it more grip.
Is this too feminine for a shared bedroom?
It leans soft and gentle rather than overtly girly, but the pastel pink palette does skew feminine. In a shared bedroom it works best balanced with neutral linen, pale oak and quieter materials rather than paired with more pink. If your partner wants something more neutral, this probably isn't the one.
