How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft greens and creams look washed out on a white wall?

No — the contrast is gentle but there's enough warm yellow on the path and darker green in the hedge to hold its own against an off-white or chalky wall. If your walls are a very bright cool white, an oak or warm brown frame will anchor it nicely and bring out the warmer tones.

Is this piece busy or calm to live with day to day?

Calm. The brushwork is flecked and lively up close, but from a normal viewing distance the scene reads as a soft, sunlit garden path. It's the sort of piece you can sit with for a long time — better suited to bedrooms, reading corners and hallways than rooms that already feel visually loud.

What size works best above a standard double bed or console?

A medium portrait size sits well above most double beds and consoles without overpowering the wall. For a king bed or wider sideboard, go up a size, or pair two medium prints side by side to fill the width while keeping the soft, garden-light mood intact.
