How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the red turret in the centre a real building?
Yes — it's the small red-and-cream tower above Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona's Eixample district, originally a water tower and now a much-photographed apartment above the treetops. The taller red, mustard and blue façades around it are the Modernista apartment blocks that line the boulevard.
Will the reds and mustards clash with cool grey walls?
They can fight a cold blue-grey wall. Warm off-white, chalky cream, soft clay and pale plaster all let the colours sing. If your walls are cool grey, balance with warm wood, linen and a brass picture light and it settles down.
Does it work in a narrow hallway, or is it too busy?
It's tall and busy but reads as a single view, not scattered detail, so it carries a narrow hallway well — especially at the end of a run where you want a focal point. Keep the rest of the hallway plain and let this be the one bright thing.
