How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the figure in the print clearly visible or quite small?
The seated figure sits low and right in the composition and reads as small against the big sky and hillside. At larger sizes she's clearly visible from across a room; in smaller sizes she becomes more of a quiet detail you notice second.
Will the bright blue overpower a calm, neutral bedroom?
It's a strong blue, but the soft pastel mark-making keeps it from feeling flat or aggressive. In a bedroom with off-white walls, pale wood and linen, it reads more like a window onto a summer's day than a bold colour block.
Does this work better in portrait orientation above a bed or in a hallway?
Both work. Above a low bed it acts like a second window and gives the room a vertical lift. In a hallway it draws the eye and opens up a tight space. Avoid hanging it somewhere very dim — it wants daylight nearby.
