How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the sleeping cat the focal point, or the sea view through the window?
The cat is the emotional anchor — your eye lands there first. The open window and the sea sit slightly behind it as context, framing the cat rather than competing with it. If you want a piece where the view does the heavy lifting, this isn't quite that — it's a bedroom scene with a cat in it, not a seascape.
Will the red bedspread and rug clash with bedding I already own?
The red in the print is deep and warm rather than bright pillarbox red, so it sits comfortably alongside cream, off-white, soft pink, terracotta, and most natural linen. It can fight with bright orange or hot pink bedding, and it gets a bit heavy in a room that's already red-heavy. Neutral or pale bedding is the easiest pairing.
Does the busy composition still work in a smaller bedroom?
Yes — and arguably better. In a small bedroom the print acts like a window of its own, pulling the eye to the painted sea and making the walls feel further away. Just keep the wall around it relatively clear so the composition has space to breathe.
