How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the pink read as soft and dusty, or bright and sweet?

It reads as a soft, dusty pink — closer to old plaster than candy. The painterly brushwork keeps it warm and slightly nostalgic, so it sits comfortably with warm woods, brass and deep greens rather than feeling sugary.

Will this look heavy above a sofa, or is the composition open enough?

The composition is busy but balanced — the green sofa anchors the lower half, the pink panelling opens up the top, and the cat sits centrally. Above a sofa it reads as an interior-within-an-interior rather than a dense block of colour.

Is there much detail in the cat's face, or is it loose brushwork?

The cat is rendered in loose painterly strokes rather than fine detail. The face reads clearly from a step or two back, with two small eyes and a calm expression, but up close it stays gestural — part of the overall painterly feel.
