How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the warm peach background clash with cool grey walls?

It can sit a little awkwardly against cool blue-grey walls because the background is genuinely warm. It looks happiest against off-white, cream, soft clay or plaster walls. If your walls are cool grey, a black frame will sharpen the edges and help bridge the temperature, but the print will still bring noticeable warmth to the room.

Is the wine glass detailed enough to read from across the room?

Yes. The dark red wine sits against the white tablecloth and the cat's black coat, so the glass holds its shape clearly even from a few metres away. The whiskers and yellow eyes also stay legible at distance, which is why this print works as a small feature piece rather than only as a close-up detail.

Does it work in a kitchen with food smells and steam?

The art print is on fine-art paper, so we'd suggest hanging it away from direct steam, hobs and splashback zones. A dining nook, breakfast bar wall or the wall by a bar cart is a better fit than directly behind a kettle. The canvas version copes a little better with general kitchen humidity.
