How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft pink background work on a white or cream kitchen wall?

Yes — the pink reads as warm and dusty rather than candy. It sits happily against white, cream, off-white and warm beige walls, and actually warms cooler whites up. If your wall is already a strong pink, choose a different background colour for the room and let this piece be the star.

Is this too playful for a dining room?

Not at all. The mosaic treatment gives it a grown-up edge, and the warm red and dark green ground it. It works well above a sideboard or behind a dining table, especially in homes that lean warm and lived-in rather than cool and formal.

What size works best above a kitchen counter or sideboard?

A medium portrait is the sweet spot — large enough that both tomatoes read clearly from across the room, but not so big it dwarfs the counter or shelves below. Aim for roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it, hung at comfortable eye level.
