How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dark forest band along the top feel heavy in a bright room?

It actually does the opposite — the dark green strip gives the riot of blooms below something to push against, so the eye reads it as depth rather than weight. In a bright, off-white room it acts almost like a horizon line, letting the pinks, ochres and cobalts feel even more saturated without the composition tipping into chaos.

Is the brushwork smooth or does it read as visible texture?

Visible and chunky. The meadow is built from short, loaded strokes and palette-knife dabs, so individual petals sit slightly proud of the surrounding paint. On the fine-art paper you see the brush direction clearly; on canvas the weave reinforces that impasto effect and the piece reads almost like a real oil from across the room.

Can this work in a room that already has floral cushions or curtains?

Carefully. This print is a floral statement in its own right, so it fights with other dense floral patterns. It works best when the rest of the room pulls back to plain linen, solid velvet, or small-scale geometric textiles. If you love your floral cushions, swap them for solids on the sofa nearest the print and bring the florals to another room.
