How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the cool blue tones make my room feel cold?
Not in a lived-in room. The off-white snow and warm rusty pine trunk soften the blues, so paired with timber furniture, a wool throw or a warm lamp it reads calm rather than chilly. It works best on a wall that gets some natural light through the day.
Is this recognisable as a Munch if guests don't know the painting?
The loose brushwork and visible signature give it away as early modern Norwegian painting, but it doesn't shout 'famous artist' the way The Scream would. People tend to read it first as a calm winter landscape, then notice the Munch feel once they look closer.
Does it need to hang on a white wall?
No. It actually has more presence on a warm off-white, soft greige or pale clay wall, which picks up the rusty pine trunk and the muted pink in the snow. Bright stark white can flatten it. Avoid hanging it on cold grey or deep navy walls.
