How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep green background look heavy in a small bedroom?

Less than you'd think. The cream border around the artwork and the soft script at the base let the piece breathe, so it reads as grounded rather than dark. Hang it on a warm off-white or pale plaster wall and keep the bedding and timber tones light — it will feel calming, not closed-in.

Is the 'Year of the Horse' lettering very prominent, or does it sit quietly?

It sits quietly. The script is fine-lined and runs along the bottom edge in the cream border, so from across the room you read the horse and forest first, the words second. Up close, the calligraphy adds a nice handwritten note without turning the piece into a slogan poster.

Does this only work for lunar new year, or is it a year-round piece?

Year-round. The botanical art nouveau styling and earthy green palette mean it reads as a horse-in-a-forest portrait far more than a calendar print. People who like William Morris, vintage botanicals, or animal portraits tend to keep it up all year.
