How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the dog facing away in the picture?
Yes — the terrier is shown from behind, sitting calmly on a small blue-grey shadow. You see the back of its head, ears and body rather than its face. That's part of why it sits easily in a room: it doesn't lock eyes with you across the sofa, it just keeps you company.
Will the soft blue-grey palette work in a warm, cream-toned room?
Yes. The blue-grey is gentle and slightly warm itself, not icy, and the print is mostly soft white space. It sits comfortably next to cream walls, oak furniture and linen upholstery without fighting the warmth — think of it as a quiet cool note in an otherwise warm room.
Does it work in a child's room or nursery as well as a living room?
It does. The loose watercolour and friendly subject suit a nursery or kid's room beautifully, but the palette is grown-up enough that it doesn't look out of place above a console in a hallway or beside a bed in a main bedroom. It travels well as children grow up.
