How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright orange clash with warm wood kitchen cabinets?

It sits happily with warm wood. Pale oak, beech and light walnut all pick up the soft pink background rather than fighting the orange. The dark green leaves stop it looking too sweet. If your cabinets are a strong yellow-toned pine, hang it on a plain white or soft pink wall so the two warm tones have breathing space.

Does the SICILIA lettering work if I don't have an Italian-style kitchen?

Yes. The word sits small and quiet under the image, so it reads as part of the design rather than a slogan. In a plain Scandinavian or farmhouse kitchen it just adds a little character. If you'd rather it went unnoticed, hang it slightly above eye level so the fruit leads.

Is it strong enough to hang on its own above a dining table?

In a medium or large size, yes. The three oranges sit centrally with clear shapes that read from across a room. Above a table, leave around 60cm between the tabletop and the bottom edge. If your wall is wide, a matching pair either side of a window balances it better than one small piece.
