Om detta konstverk

Chalky matt paint flattens most pictures. Glazed tile does the opposite. Hang this on a plain plaster wall in the kitchen and the shine in the white pieces lifts off the paint, so a flat wall looks like someone set real tile into it. Black ground does the heavy lifting against off-white. Soft pink in the ears and the border below picks up any blush or dusty grey already in the room. Go wide. At a metre across it runs the length of a dining bench or the back of a sofa, and the cat gets its full stretch. Keep the wall around it bare. Pale wood worktops and a black tap finish the argument. On canvas there is no glass, so the kitchen lights stay out of the picture.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the black background make a small kitchen feel darker?

Less than you might expect. Around forty percent of the picture is off-white and pale grey, and the white cat sits in the middle where the eye lands first. The black works as an outline rather than a wash. Keep the wall behind it pale and it reads as crisp, not heavy. In a north-facing kitchen, hang it opposite the window so daylight hits the white tiles.

How wide should it be above a sofa or dining bench?

Aim for two thirds of the furniture width. On a standard two-seater that is around 100cm across, and on a 180cm dining bench closer to 120cm. The shape is twice as wide as it is tall, so a metre across gives a height of about 50cm, which sits neatly in the space between a sofa back and the ceiling.

Does the pink border clash with a grey kitchen?

It tends to help. The border mixes dusty pink with slate grey and cream, so it already has grey in it and the pink is soft rather than sweet. Against grey cabinets or a grey stone floor the pink gives the scheme one warm note without changing its character. Avoid pairing it with a bright red or orange splashback, which fights it.
