Om detta konstverk

Most rooms run out of ideas above head height. Sofas, shelves and radiators all stop at the same line, and the wall above them sits empty. Height is the thing missing, and this supplies it. The trees run straight up, so the eye climbs with them and the ceiling reads taller than it is. Deep olive branches hold their own against a warm grey wall or limewashed plaster, and the pale snow at the base gives the floor line somewhere to land. Hang it on a stair landing, where the wall is tall and narrow and nothing else fits. Wool throws and unpainted timber suit it. Nothing else near it. On canvas the woven surface matches the linen ground in the painting, so it hangs without a frame and still looks finished.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark trees make a small hallway feel darker?

Less than you might expect. The trees sit on a warm grey ground rather than black, and the pale snow band at the bottom bounces a little light back. In a narrow hallway the upright format pulls the eye upward, which makes the space feel taller and less boxed in. Keep the wall itself a light warm grey or off-white and add one lamp, and the dark reads as depth rather than shadow.

Does it look like Christmas art once the holidays are over?

No. There are no lights, baubles or red anywhere in it, just spruce trees and snow in olive and grey. It reads as a winter woodland, the kind you would see on a walk in January, so it sits comfortably on the wall through spring and summer. Plenty of customers buy it for cabins and hallways precisely because it feels seasonal without tipping into festive decoration.

Which wall suits the tall shape best?

Any wall that is clearly taller than it is wide. A stair landing is the natural home, because the wall runs to the ceiling and wider pieces look cramped there. The strip between two windows works too, as does the end wall of a narrow hallway. Above a sofa or a wide bed it will look stranded, so choose a landscape piece for those spots instead.
