How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this feel too loud in a normal living room?

It's loud on purpose. It reads best on a dark or moody wall — charcoal, black, deep navy — with one clean surface underneath and simple furniture around it. On a bright white wall in a busy room it can feel restless. Give it space and a darker backdrop and it settles into a single, strong statement rather than shouting.

What colours in a room work best with this piece?

Deep charcoal, matt black, dark navy and warm brown walls all let the neon pink, orange and yellow sing. Chrome, glossy black lacquer, dark leather and mirrored surfaces pick up the energy. Avoid soft pinks, dusty pastels and beige linen nearby — they'll clash with the neon rather than complement it.

Is this suitable for a teen or young adult bedroom?

Yes — it's a strong fit for teen and young adult rooms, student flats, media rooms and creative studios. The 80s neon energy pairs well with vinyl, gaming setups, music posters and darker paint. For younger children's rooms the contrast is very high, so it's better suited to teens and up.
