How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the red tail feel too bright in a calm room?
The red only covers a small part of the picture, so it reads as an accent rather than a wash of colour. Against the soft green ground it stays contained. If your room is very pale, pick up the red once more in a cushion or a bowl and it settles straight away.
What wall colour suits this best?
Chalky off-white, soft sage green and deep teal all work. Off-white lets the gold clouds glow, sage green blends with the background so the bird steps forward, and deep teal makes the whole thing feel richer. Avoid walls in orange, rust or terracotta, which compete with the red tail.
Does it work on a narrow hallway wall?
The tall shape suits a hallway, but the gold linework and feather detail need a bit of viewing distance to read. If you can only stand a metre or so back, go for a medium size. On a wider entryway wall where you see it from across the room, go large.
