How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft green read as grey on a white wall?

On a cool bright white it can lean slightly grey, which some people like. Against warm white, chalky off-white or plaster it holds its green much better. If your walls are stark white, a slim black frame helps by giving the soft edges a clear boundary and keeping the green from washing out.

Does it still work in a small room?

Yes, as long as you choose a medium size rather than a large one. The shapes are big, so at a smaller scale you see two or three curves instead of a busy pattern, which suits a compact bedroom or a narrow hallway. Leave clear wall on both sides so the curves have room to breathe.

Can I hang it as a pair?

It pairs well with itself or with another tonal texture piece of the same size, hung side by side with a gap of about 8 to 10cm. Because the composition runs off the edges, two portrait pieces read as one continuous surface. Avoid pairing it with anything high contrast, which will pull the eye away.
