When the nursery feels over-arranged, this kind of abstract helps. Small moons, starbursts and squiggles sit loosely across a warm cream ground, so the wall gets movement without another loud focal point. Hung above a cot or a changing unit it softens hard modern furniture and picks up mustard and soft pink already in the bedding. It sits happily over a low chest of drawers, on a landing, or in a child's bedroom above a small desk. Keep the surrounding furnishings simple: pale wood, cream walls, cotton and rattan. What it doesn't want is competition, so skip busy wallpaper, dense pattern curtains and a crowded shelf directly underneath. On fine-art paper the cream ground stays soft and matt.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this still suit the room when my child is older?
Yes. The moons and stars are painted loosely rather than drawn as characters, and the colours are muted mustard, soft pink and blue on cream. That keeps it closer to a pattern than a baby motif, so it holds up in a six or ten year old's room, or in a spare bedroom later on.
Is it too busy for a small nursery?
It reads as moderate rather than busy, because most of the surface is plain cream and the marks are small and well spaced. In a small room, keep it as the only artwork on that wall and leave the shelf below fairly clear. It gives movement without shrinking the space.
Does it work with a cream or off-white wall?
It does, and that is where it looks best. The background is a warm cream, so on a cream or oat wall the edges soften and only the painted marks stand out. On cool grey or bright white walls the background will look slightly yellow, so a frame with a clean white edge helps.
