Om detta konstverk

Three things it does fast: ground soft blue, sharpen linen, wake the living room. A sunlit poolside scene in soft blue and white brings a slow holiday mood into the room without shouting. Palms, striped loungers and a fringed parasol read from across the room, then reward a closer look with loose brushwork and pencil lines. Hang it above a low sofa, a console or a sideboard on a chalky off-white or pale blue wall. Pair it with cane, rattan, whitewashed timber, linen and blue and white ticking stripes. Skip heavy carved antiques or busy floral wallpaper alongside it — this piece wants light, air and a bit of breathing room.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the soft blue read as grey on a white wall?

On a bright white wall the blue can look a touch cooler, but it still reads clearly as sky blue rather than grey. On chalky off-white or pale blue walls the colour warms up and feels more like a summer sky. If your walls are stark cool white, try a slim white frame with a small margin to soften the transition.

Will it look right in a room that isn't coastal?

Yes. The illustration is loose and modern rather than beach-cottage literal, so it settles happily into organic-modern, city apartment and Mediterranean-leaning rooms. Pair it with linen, cane, pale wood and a terracotta pot and it reads as a relaxed holiday reference rather than seaside kitsch.

Is it a good pick above a bed?

It is. The square shape sits neatly above a standard headboard, and the calm blue and white palette works well in bedrooms with white bedding, natural wood and soft lighting. Hang it centred, roughly a hand's width above the headboard, so it feels connected to the bed rather than floating.
