How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the cobalt blue feel too strong in a small room?
It can dominate a small room, but that's often the point. In a snug study or compact living room, hang it as the only artwork on the wall and keep furniture quiet — pale oak, white bouclé, simple lamps. The blue then reads as a confident focal point rather than visual noise.
Does it work on a coloured or wallpapered wall?
It works best on a calm wall — white plaster, off-white, pale grey or a soft mid-blue. Busy wallpaper or warm patterned walls will compete with the looping shapes. If your wall is already a feature, consider hanging this somewhere quieter in the home.
What size should I go for above a standard sofa?
For a three-seater sofa, go large. A tall portrait piece roughly two-thirds the width of the sofa, hung with a small gap above the back cushions, gives the brushstrokes room to read. Smaller sizes can look lost against the strong cobalt background.
