How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this work in a modern kitchen, or is it strictly country?

It leans country and grandmillennial, but the monochrome palette keeps it flexible. In a more modern kitchen with handleless cabinets, choose a slim black frame and hang it solo on a quiet wall — the vintage detail then reads as a deliberate character piece rather than a clash.

Does it need to be part of a set, or does it work alone?

It works both ways. Solo, it adds a single point of character above an open shelf or beside a pantry door. As a set of three or four with other herb studies in matching frames, it becomes a small kitchen gallery wall — calm, balanced and easy to live with.

Is the striped background too busy for a patterned kitchen?

The stripes are soft cream and pale grey rather than high contrast, so they read more as texture than pattern. If your kitchen already has busy tile, wallpaper or a strong rug, hang it on a plainer painted wall and give it a little breathing space on either side.
