How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dense pattern feel overwhelming on a small hallway wall?

It can take a small wall well because the colour is just blue and cream — there's no second hue fighting for attention. Hang at eye level, keep the wall around it calm, and the pattern reads as one rich texture rather than visual noise. A larger size on a short wall often works better than a small size lost in the middle.

Does the print include the Liberty London and Underground text?

Yes. The composition is styled as a Liberty London exhibition poster, so William Morris sits across the top and Liberty London with the Underground stamp and station references sit across the bottom on the cream border. The pattern itself fills the centre.

Will the cool blue clash with warm wood furniture?

No — cool blue and warm wood is a classic English country pairing. Oak, pine and painted wood all work. It only starts to fight if the room leans hard into warm reds, terracotta or burnt orange, where the blue will sit apart rather than settle in.
