How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the orange table going to feel too warm against cool-toned walls?
It can. The warm orange and soft pinks lean traditional and cosy, so they sit best on chalky off-white, sage, soft clay or warm cream walls. On cool grey or stark white, the warmth in the painting can feel a bit stranded. If your walls are cool, an oak frame helps bridge it.
Does this work above a bed, or is it better above a sideboard?
Both work. The tall portrait shape and central vase make it a natural fit above a low headboard or a sideboard of similar width. Aim for the piece to be roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture below it, hung about a hand's width above the top.
How much detail is there in the flowers up close?
It's a naive-art painting, so the flowers are simplified rather than botanically precise — flat petals, clear outlines, and a slightly stiff arrangement. From across the room it reads as a full, cheerful bouquet; up close you see Rousseau's flat brushwork and uneven petal shapes, which is part of the charm.
