How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the green be too bright next to blue and white china?

It shouldn't be. The plate outline is the same ink blue you find on most blue and white china, so the two sit together naturally. The green is the lift. If your shelves are already busy with pattern, hang it a little apart from them so the leaves have some plain wall to breathe against.

Does it work in a kitchen with warm wood and terracotta?

Yes, though it changes character. Against warm wood and terracotta the cool green and blue act as a contrast rather than a match, which can look fresh and deliberate. Keep the surrounding shelf styling simple and let one other blue or green object echo it somewhere in the room.

Is a single lettuce enough on a big wall?

On a wide wall it can look lost on its own. It's happiest on a short wall, in an alcove, or above a sideboard where the wall is roughly the width of the piece plus a hand's span each side. On a larger wall, pair it with two or three other simple food drawings.
