How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How small can this go before the sketch feels lost?
The drawing is loose but the details — the croissant ridges, the scattered beans — read clearly down to roughly A4 or A3. Below that, the smaller objects start to lose definition. For above a counter, A3 is a comfortable sweet spot.
Will the warm off-white background look yellow next to bright white cabinets?
The paper tone is a soft warm cream rather than a true white, so it will read slightly warmer than a brilliant-white cabinet. On most kitchens this reads as gentle contrast rather than a clash, but if your scheme is rigorously cool-white, a thin white frame helps bridge the two.
Does the blue lean navy or brighter?
It's a deep, slightly warm blue — closer to a strong cobalt-leaning navy than a bright royal blue. It sits comfortably alongside soft blue-grey tea towels, Cornishware-style stripes, and pale oak, rather than vibrant turquoise or pastel sky blue.
