How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the text part of the print, or can I order it without the wording?
The Kew Gardens Exhibition wording and the Underground roundel are part of the artwork itself — they read as a vintage exhibition poster. It only ships as shown, so if you'd prefer a pure botanical image without text, this one isn't the right pick.
Will the soft pink background look too feminine in a shared living room?
The pink here is a warm, dusty, almost plaster tone rather than a bright candy pink, and the dark wings give it real weight. It reads more like a vintage poster than a girly print, and tends to settle happily in mixed-taste rooms.
How big should I go for it to feel like a proper exhibition poster?
Large is the sweet spot. The text needs room to breathe and the two butterflies want space between them. Aim for at least 50cm wide on a clear stretch of wall — above a sideboard, console or bed works particularly well.
