How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the pink very bright in real life?

No. The pink reads as a soft, washed-out tone with cream coming through underneath, more dusty than sweet. It feels closer to a faded vintage textile than a bright modern pink, which is why it sits well with warm neutrals, mustard and sage rather than fighting them.

Will this work in a room with warm wood and brass?

Yes, this is one of its strongest pairings. The mustard border and warm cream centre echo brass tones, and the soft pink lifts pale oak and walnut without clashing. Keep other accent colours muted — clay, sage, cream — so the painted border stays the most active element on the wall.

Does the rough painted border look intentional or like a printing error?

It is part of the artwork. The piece is made to look like a layered studio painting, with a rougher mustard, sage and red border framing a softer washed centre, plus small drips. The border gives it structure and stops the centre feeling too light, so the whole piece holds together on the wall.
