How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the terracotta strong enough to clash with cool grey furniture?

Yes, fairly. The terrace and chair sit in warm orange-red, which can fight a cool grey sofa or charcoal rug. It looks best with warm woods, tan leather, cream and sand tones. If your room leans cool grey, this print will pull against it rather than settle in.

Will the bright sky blue look heavy in a small room?

Not usually. The blue is mid-toned rather than dark, and the composition has plenty of light areas — the mustard roof, sand terrace and reflections. In a small bright room it reads as a window onto somewhere warmer. In a low-light room it loses some of its sunlit feel.

Does this work above a bed or is it too active for a bedroom?

It can work above a bed if the rest of the room is calm — plain bedding, no patterned wallpaper, simple timber bedside tables. The composition is graphic but not chaotic. If you want something quieter to fall asleep under, this is probably louder than ideal.
