How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm rust background overwhelm a small room?
Not at a medium size. The background is warm but soft, and the loose brushwork keeps it from feeling heavy. In a smaller room, hang it as the single anchor on one wall — over a sideboard, console or low sofa — and keep nearby surfaces calm. A warm table lamp nearby makes the colours sing rather than shout.
Does this work in a modern, minimalist room?
It can, but it shifts the room. If your space is built on cool greys, crisp whites and hard lines, this Renoir will read as a deliberate warm contrast rather than blending in. Lean into that: pair it with one or two warmer touches — a timber side table, a linen cushion, a stoneware lamp — so it doesn't feel marooned.
What frame works best with the warm background?
A brown wood frame is the natural choice — it picks up the rust background and the painting's late-19th-century character, and it sits warmer than oak. Black can work if the rest of your room is sharper and more graphic. Avoid silver and gold unless your interior already leans ornate or art-deco.
