How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep red in the maple seeds clash with pink or coral rooms?
It can. The reds here are deep and slightly brown-tinted, so they sit comfortably with warm cream, oak and aged leather. In a room already leaning pink, coral or pastel, the print can feel weightier than expected — try it against a chalky off-white or warm neutral wall instead.
Is this better as a single anchor or part of a gallery wall?
It works either way, but it shines as a single anchor above a desk, console or in a narrow hallway. If you want a cluster, pair it with one or two quieter botanicals or another Audubon plate — keep companions restrained so the detail in the birds and seeds still reads.
Does the composition feel balanced or weighted to one side?
The male bird sits high-left on a branch reaching across the top, with the female lower-right and the red seeds bridging them. The eye travels diagonally, so the print holds its own on a centred wall, but it also works slightly off-centre above an asymmetric console.
