How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the orange-brown background clash with terracotta or clay-painted walls?
It usually sits happily with them. The background is a warmer, more orange brown, so against terracotta or clay walls the two read as one family rather than a clash. If your wall is already strong, leave a good margin of clear wall around the piece and keep nearby objects plain so the face stays the thing you notice first.
Does the face feel too confrontational for a bedroom?
It looks straight out at you, so it holds attention more than a landscape would. Above a chest of drawers or on a side wall it reads as friendly and slightly comic. Directly above a bed, facing the pillows, some people find it a bit much. If you like a calmer room at night, hang it where you see it walking in rather than lying down.
What size works best in a normal-sized room?
Medium is the safe choice for a standard living room or bedroom wall, roughly filling two thirds of the furniture width below it. Because the head is a single big shape, going small loses the impact and the blocks of colour start to look fussy. On a wide empty wall or a stair landing, size up and let it be the only thing there.
