How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too busy if my sofa already has pattern?
Probably, yes. The print is dense — hundreds of spiralled discs against a gold ground — and it works best when it's the loudest thing in the room. If your sofa, rug or curtains carry strong pattern, this piece will fight them. It belongs over solid upholstery in deep green, rust, brown or aged leather.
Does the gold actually look gold, or more like yellow?
It reads as warm gold rather than metallic — there's no foil or shimmer, it's pigment. Under warm lamplight in the evening it deepens and glows; in bright cool daylight it leans more toward ochre and honey. If you want true metallic shine, this isn't that piece.
Is the composition symmetrical or does the eye get pulled to one side?
It's broadly symmetrical — the trunks march vertically across the whole image and the spiralled discs are scattered fairly evenly. The eye tends to travel up and down rather than left or right, which is why it works so well on tall walls and behind sofas where you want a calm centre.
