How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the olive stripe background clash with sage or green-painted cabinets?

The olive here is soft and warm rather than fresh garden green, so it sits happily next to sage, soft moss or muted khaki cabinetry. It's more likely to clash with cool blue-greens or strong emerald — if your cabinets lean in that direction, test against a swatch first.

Does it work on its own or do I need a matching set?

Both. Solo, it acts as a small character piece above a dresser, bench or pantry door. As a set of three or four with other herb studies — rosemary, sage, basil — it builds a relaxed kitchen gallery. Keep frames consistent and hang at eye level when seated.

Is the background pattern too busy for a small kitchen?

The stripes are soft and low contrast, closer to a ticking fabric than a bold print, so it reads as gentle texture rather than busy pattern. In a small kitchen, choose a medium size and give it a clear wall — above a dresser, between cabinets, or beside the pantry — rather than crowding it with shelves of jars.
