How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright red clash with a terracotta or pink kitchen?

Honestly, yes — this red is clean and cool-leaning, so it can fight warm pinks and terracotta tiles. It's happiest against cream, white, soft grey, sage, or pale oak walls and cabinets. If your kitchen already runs warm-orange, this probably isn't the easiest fit.

Is the cut apple too graphic or science-textbook?

No — the cross-section is hand-painted with loose brushwork and a small five-seed star in the centre, so it feels like a friendly study, not a diagram. Up close you can see the brush marks. It reads as art, not infographic.

Does it work in a child's room or family kitchen?

It works well in a family kitchen, breakfast nook, or older child's room. The subject is simple and friendly, but the painting style is grown-up enough that you won't outgrow it in two years. Not as nursery-soft as pastel fruit prints.
