How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this too bold for a small hallway?

No. The background is a large area of chalky off-white, so the piece reads as calm from a distance and only shows its colour up close. In a narrow hallway that works in your favour: you get one strong point of interest without the walls closing in. Hang it at eye level on the longest run of wall.

Will the soft pink and blue work with warm wood furniture?

Yes, and it is one of the easier pairings. The pink has a warm base, so it sits happily next to oak, walnut and rattan. The blue stops the whole thing turning too sweet. If your room is heavy on brown, add an off-white or cream textile nearby to echo the background.

Does it need a partner print or does it stand alone?

It stands alone well because the raised arms and glasses give it a clear focal point. If you do want a pair, choose one quieter piece in the same soft pink or off-white and hang it to the side rather than directly beside. Two busy figure prints side by side compete.
