Somewhere between Rothko and mid-century modern, this abstract refuses to behave. The burnt orange is dragged over pale blue in broken blocks, so the whole thing looks worked rather than designed. Put it up and a flat, tidy room gains heat and a bit of grit. It holds a wall on its own above a sofa, a sideboard or a desk, and it also steadies a hallway that has nothing going on. Keep the furnishings honest: tan leather, wool, dark wood, matt black metal, plain stoneware. Chalky off-white or pale grey walls give it the most room to breathe. What not to do: don't crowd it with busy pattern, don't hang it next to another strong warm abstract, and don't box it into a fussy carved surround. On fine-art paper the dry-brush edges and paper flecks stay crisp.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the orange as strong in a room as it looks on screen?
It reads warm and definite rather than neon. Because the rust is dry-brushed over pale blue, plenty of light breaks through the blocks, which softens the overall effect on a wall. In a grey or off-white room it becomes the warm focal point. In a room already full of terracotta and tan, it will blend more than it stands out.
Does the loose grid look odd if it isn't hung perfectly straight?
No, and that is one of its strengths. The blocks never line up neatly to begin with, so tiny variations in hanging don't jar the way they would on a hard-edged geometric piece. Still, hang it level to the floor rather than to a picture rail, and centre it on the furniture below for the tidiest result.
Will it work in a small room or narrow hallway?
Yes, as long as you can stand back around a metre and a half. The portrait shape suits narrow walls, and the tall proportions help a cramped space feel taller. In a very tight hallway, go a size down from the largest option so the rust doesn't press in on you as you walk past.
