Against terracotta, the rust brown reads less sweet, more deliberate. It is a warm, mineral colour with a chalky edge, and the pale blue underneath keeps it from turning heavy. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the rust brown look orange on the wall?

It reads as a deep, slightly dusty brown-red rather than bright orange. Under warm lamplight it leans redder; in cool daylight it looks browner and more muted. If your room already has terracotta pots or tan leather, it will sit in the same family rather than jumping out as a separate colour.

Is the pale blue strong enough to count as a blue in my scheme?

Only just. The blue is a soft icy tone that behaves more like a light background than a feature colour, so don't buy it expecting to tie in navy or teal furnishings. Treat the piece as a warm brown one with cool relief, and pick up the blue with a small object if you want the link.

Does the unfinished edge on the right look like a mistake?

No — the brushwork stops short and lets the pale ground show, which is part of how the piece was painted. In a frame it reads as an intentional open edge and stops the composition feeling boxed in. If you prefer a fully covered surface, a denser abstract would suit you better.
